VGA Touch Screen Toll Terminal

The Tolltex VGA Touch Screen Toll Terminal is used with our TollTrax toll collection system. The terminal is used by toll collectors to process vehicles in the lanes.

The device is a rugged, yet low cost touch screen based on a 15 inch color monitor. The device interfaces with lane controller via a standard VGA cable for the video and a serial RS232 cable for the touch data.

The compact size of the terminal makes it ideally suited to fit into a standard size toll booth without overcrowding the toll operators countertop.

The swivel base allows the operator to adjust the terminal to meet his/her preferences regarding use.

The image on the left is the main classification screen that toll operators use to classify vehicles, process payments, and perform other operations necessary in processing vehicles.

The gray "boxes" on the screen react like "buttons" when touched. By using software-defined touch targets instead of typical buttons or keyboards, it is possible to adapt the system to meet the unique and changing requirements of a toll facility.
